How to bounce back from setbacks
I have had my share of setbacks in my career and personal life.
Here are my top tips to bounce back when life knocks you down 👇🏽
- Remember, the problem is not the problem.
It’s your reaction to the problem.
- Detox social media content.
Don’t doom scroll.
Block/unfollow those who trigger you.
You come first.
- Connect with those who inspire you and keep you positive.
Purge your network.
Even if it’s just a short walk around the block.
It will clear your mind and do magic to your mental and physical status.
- Remember that if you fail, you are in the arena.
You are doing the work and taking some blows.
You are NOT watching from the sidelines.
- Get a dog 🐕.
She will keep you fit and make you appreciate the small pleasures in life.
- Be kind to yourself.
Remember you need to put your oxygen mask first before you help others.
